The heat exchanger comprises a bundle (32) of parallel tubes, a manifold plate (10) provided with holes (26), each receiving the respective ends (40, 42) of several adjacent tubes (36, 38) belonging to one and the same group (34), as well as a compressible sealing gasket (24) interposed between the edge of the hole and the ends of the tubes of the group, at least one (40) of the ends of the tubes of a group of tubes received in one and the same hole of the manifold plate having geometrical characteristics which are different from those of the other end or ends (42) of the tubes of the group. Application especially to heat exchangers for motor vehicles. <IMAGE>

L'échangeur de chaleur comprend un faisceau (32) de tubes parallèles, une plaque collectrice (10) munie de trous (26) recevant chacun les extrémités respectives (40,42) de plusieurs tubes adjacents (36,38) appartenant à un même groupe (34), ainsi qu'un joint d'étanchéité compressible (24) interposé entre le bord du trou et les extrémités des tubes du groupe, l'une (40) au moins des extrémités des tubes d'un groupe de tubes reçus dans un même trou de la plaque collectrice possédant des caractéristiques géométriques différentes de celles de l'autre ou des autres extrémités (42) de tubes du groupe.
