Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0579002A1] 2.1. The invention is intended to achieve the object of implementing the starting and stopping of the sheet reversal using simple means of printing technology, it being possible for short reversal times to be achieved. 2.2. The invention consists in the fact that the adjustment of the phase position of the printing units, of the points in time of the opening of the grippers and of the elements (10, 11) holding the leading edge and trailing edge of the sheets takes place essentially simultaneously. For this purpose, the device comprises pressure medium-actuated couplings (46, 47, 49, 68, 69, 73) and further pressure medium-actuated actuators, the associated operating cylinders (31, 49, 63, 69, 104, 124) being arranged fixed to the frame. 2.3. The invention is applicable in sheet-fed printing machines with a device for sheet reversal. <IMAGE>
