Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0579150A1] The goods waggon consists of fixed end walls, and two sliding hoods, which move via rollers in rails. The bogies (2) of the longitudinal waggon sides each carry an actuator shaft (9), which are coupled. Each also carries a rail profile (6) with two running rails (7,8) on different levels. Turning of the shafts executes different lifting and pivot movements, to move both hoods (5), to lift, pivot, and deposit them onto the running rails. The lifting and pivot distance is dimensioned, so that the hoods move freely over each other, and over the end walls, within the movement range of the running rollers (16).
