Abstract (en)
The camshaft has several switchable cams with different axial offset, per valve. It is moved by a control device. The device consists of a shift link (10) with two or more helical opposite guide grooves (10'), and a catch (11), which is moved into the grooves by a trigger (12). The guide grooves end in release grooves (10"), and engagement of the catch in one of these defines various operational positions of the camshaft (3). The guide grooves are worked into the camshaft. The catch is secured against turning about the camshaft axis (3a), pref. is connected to the cylinder head via a housing (13) of the control device. The catch is formed by a spring ring around the camshaft.

Um die Nockenwelle 3 in Abhängigkeit vom Nockenwellenverdrehwinkel axial verschieben zu können, wird eine Verstellvorrichtung 9, bestehend aus einer Verschiebekulisse 10 mit zwei schraubenförmigen, im gegenläufigen Drehsinn zueinander angeordneten Führungsnuten 10', die in ringförmige Freistellnuten 10'' enden, und einem durch ein Auslöseorgan 12 in die Führungsnuten 10' einlenkbaren Mitnehmer 11, vorgeschlagen. <IMAGE>
