[origin: WO9316248A1] The invention concerns a spacer for a reinforcement bar (7) designed to be embedded in concrete, the spacer having means enabling it to surround and hold the reinforcement bar (7). The invention calls for the spacer to comprise a base (1), the height of which corresponds to the required reinforcement-bar separation, and a strap-like bar-holding element (8) which extends round the bar (7) in the form of a ring. One end of the base (1) has a threaded bore (3) and the two ends (9, 10) of the bar-holding element (8) are designed as parts of an externally threaded screw (13) which fits into the threaded bore (3) in the base (1).

L'invention concerne un écarteur pour une barre (7) à noyer dans du béton armé, qui comporte des moyens pour enserrer et maintenir la barre (7) à noyer dans le béton de manière à former un U. Selon l'invention, l'écarteur se compose d'un socle (1) ayant une hauteur correspondant à l'écart voulu et d'un élément de retenue (8) se présentant sous forme de bande, qui entoure comme un anneau la barre (7) à noyer dans du béton armé. Le socle (1) comporte un alésage taraudé (3) au niveau de sa face avant. Les deux extrémités (9, 10) de l'élément de retenue (8) se présentant sous forme de bande sont conçues comme des parties d'une vis (13) à filet extérieur, ajustée à l'alésage taraudé (3) du socle (1).
