[origin: EP0579919A1] Linear drive with a single-acting, pneumatic piston/cylinder unit (1), with at least one spring (5), counteracting the pneumatic force and loading the piston rod (8) in the direction of an end of travel, and one positive pneumatic locking means each for each of the two ends of travel of the piston rod (8).
