Abstract (en)
A throttle valve adjuster, especially for idling control, is actuated by a piezoelectric or magnetostrictive final control element. In this way great precision can be obtained. Suitable transmission elements are described, which convert the relatively small movements of a piezo element into a movement sufficient to actuate the throttle valve. According to a first embodiment, high-power piezoxide actuators actuate a pilger step-by-step transmission, according to a second embodiment piezobimorph discs act on a hydraulic volume, thereby forming a piezo-hydraulic pressure cell acting on the throttle valve by way of a cylinder-piston unit. <IMAGE>

Einen Drosselklappen-Ansteller insbesondere für die Leerlaufregelung wird von einem piezoelektrischen oder magnetostriktiven Stellglied betätigt. Hierdurch ist eine hohe Präzision erzielbar. Beschrieben werden geeignete Übertragungsglieder, die die realtiv geringen Bewegungen eines Piezo-Elementes in eine ausreichende Bewegung zur Betätigung der Drosselklappe umwandeln. Nach einer ersten Ausführungsform betätigen Hochleistungs-Piezoxid-Aktuatoren ein Pilgerschritt-Getriebe, nach einer zweiten Ausführungsform wirken PiezoBimorph-Scheiben auf ein Hydraulikvolumen ein und bilden somit eine über eine Zylinder-Kolben-Einheit auf die Drosselklappe einwirkende piezohydraulische Druckdose. <IMAGE>
