Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0579981A1] The internal gear pump has for every tooth cell an outlet valve. The teeth of internal wheel (39) and external wheel (40) are designed in such a manner that the tooth cells arising are very small. In particular, the driving flanks (41) of the teeth in engagement form a gap with a gap width of 20 - 60 mu m. Outside the pitch circle, the gap may widen to a gap width of more than 60 mu m but less than 300 mu m. <IMAGE>
