The humidifier (11) has a straight stub pipe (15) with one or more outlets (17), which is arranged in a wall (3) of the sales furniture (1) so that it is accessible from outside and can be pulled out and which projects into the airflow region. The stub pipe (15) is detachably connected by a coupling (24) to a supply pipe (21) leading to a steam generator (12) which is likewise externally arranged.
