Abstract (en)
A method of production of a security paper on a Fourdrinier machine, wherein the moving paper web being formed has applied to it from above, preferably in advance of the dry line, one or more jets of a fluid security marking composition of viscosity such that, while the composition retains sufficient integrity to provide a discrete, continuous or discontinuous, linear security feature at the surface of the finished paper, part of the composition is drawn into the paper web as the water is drawn out of it, uniting the resulting security feature with the fibres of the web. <IMAGE>
