Abstract (en)
The technical sector of the invention is that of obturating bands for arrow-type projectiles. The obturating band (5) according to the invention is arranged in a groove (7) of a sabot (2) of an arrow-type projectile, the sabot consisting of a plurality of segments (2a, 2b, 2c) separated by parting planes (11), the said band comprising at least one receptacle (9) which is in line with each parting plane and inside which a stud (14) is arranged, and being characterised in that the stud does not penetrate into the sabot. The invention is used in the sector of high-calibre ammunition. <IMAGE>

Le secteur technique de l'invention est celui des ceintures d'étanchéité pour projectiles flèches. La ceinture d'étanchéité (5) selon l'invention est disposée dans une gorge (7) d'un sabot (2) d'un projectile flèche, le sabot étant constitué par plusieurs segments (2a, 2b, 2c) séparés par des plans de joints (11), ceinture comprenant au moins un logement (9) au droit de chaque plan de joint, à l'intérieur duquel est disposé un pion (14), elle est caractérisée en ce que le pion ne pénètre pas dans le sabot. Application au domaine des munitions de gros calibre. <IMAGE>
