Abstract (en)
[origin: EP0580515A1] A self-blowing circuit breaker which includes a first arc chamber (2), a second arc chamber (4) arranged within the first arc chamber, a fixed electric arc contact (6) which extends within the second arc chamber. The second arc chamber is mounted so as to move in the first arc chamber and is arranged to slide along the fixed contact. This arrangement allows good blowing of the arc for light and heavy electrical currents. <IMAGE>
