[origin: WO9316935A1] The keg safety closure (1) proposed is designed to protect and secure the outlet port of a pressurized-liquid container. Fitted to the inside of the side wall (1.2) of the closure are wedge elements (1.3), located a certain distance away from the closure cover (1.1), which snap into the outer rim of the outlet port. The wedge elements are disposed at intervals, and not continuously, round the side wall, and are partly connected to the closure by means of zones (1.4) of lower tear strength.
