The baking oven has a device for circulating hot air in the cooking compartment by means of a circulating-air blower arranged in a blower chamber. Elongated blowing-out slots are situated in the edges of the blower chamber on both sides of the circulating-air blower. According to the invention, the blowing-out slots are subdivided by narrow webs into a plurality of slot sections following one another in the slot longitudinal direction. <IMAGE>

Der Backofen besitzt eine Einrichtung zur Umwälzung von erhitzter Luft im Garraum mittels eines in einer Gebläsekammer angeordneten Umluftgebläses. Beidseitig des Umluftgebläses befinden sich in den Rändern der Gebläsekammer langgestreckte Ausblasschlitze. Gemäß der Erfindung sind die Ausblasschlitze durch schmale Stege in mehrere in Schlitz-Längsrichtung aufeinanderfolgende Schlitzabschnitte unterteilt. <IMAGE>
