A pouch for liquid, pasty and granular material which consists in each case of four film sections of flexible material which are connected to one another at the edges in a sealing manner to form a front wall (1), a rear wall (2), and side walls (3, 4). The film sections of the side walls (3, 4) have a greater thickness and/or rigidity than the film sections of the front and rear walls (1, 2). The pouch is designed such that, when it has been filled, it can stand freely and in stable equilibrium on a flat base. <IMAGE>

Ein Verpackungsbeutel für flüssige, pastöse und körnige Stoffe.Der Beutel besteht aus jeweils vier Folienabschnitten aus flexiblem Material, die an den Kanten dichtend miteinander verbunden sind zur Bildung einer Vorderwand (1), einer Rückwand (2), sowie Seitenwänden (3,4). Die Folienabschnitte der Seitenwände (3,4) besitzen eine größere Dicke und/oder Steifigkeit als die Folienabschnitte der Vorder- und der Rückwand (1,2).Der Beutel ist so ausgestaltet, daß er nach der Befüllung auf einer ebenen Unterlage frei und im stabilen Gleichgewicht steht. <IMAGE>
