[origin: EP0581011A2] The invention relates to a container with a pressure equalising device, consisting of a container body, a container lid, and at least one closure element which consists essentially of a threaded bolt and via which the container lid can be fixed on the container body. To achieve the object of providing such a container which has a pressure equalising device which operates effectively, is as simple as possible, and is insensitive to disturbances by contaminations or similar influences due to a large pressurised surface, the threaded bolt is supported via a head part in relation to a spring which is arranged in a supporting element. The supporting element is linked to the container body or to the container lid and engages there. The container lid can be fixed in relation to the container body via a nut which is seated rotatably on the threaded bolt.
