Abstract (en)

The object of the invention is to propose a device of this type which allows a reliable, prompt and complete removal of end turns. This object is achieved, according to the invention, in that the suction orifice (17) of the device is followed, in a suction housing (14), by a roller (15) having a non-slip surface (31). The roller is connected to a drive (16) which imparts to it a circumferential speed causing the sucked-up thread to fray. The roller (15) advantageously possesses a sawtooth-like covering (31), the tooth flanks (33a) of which are located at the front in the direction of rotation of the roller. The invention guarantees, at the same time as a high uniform pull on the thread by mechanical means, that a constant suction flow is maintained. Use is possible in spinning cops, slipped onto mandrels, when these spinning cops are rotated, or also in the direction of the cop longitudinal axis of spinning cops which are drawn off from the slip-on mandrel. <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Die Erfindung hat die Aufgabe, eine derartige Vorrichtung vorzuschlagen, die ein sicheres, zügiges und vollständiges Entfernen von Endwindungen ermöglicht. Diese Aufgabe wird erfindungsgemäß dadurch gelöst, daß im Anschluß an die Ansaugöffnung (17) der Vorrichtung in einem Sauggehäuse (14) eine Walze (15) mit griffiger Oberfläche (31) angeordnet ist. Die Walze ist mit einem Antrieb (16) verbunden, der ihr eine das Zerfasern des angesaugten Fadens bewirkende Umfangsgeschwindigkeit erteilt. Die Walze (15) besitzt vorteilhaft einen sägezahnartigen Belag (31), dessen Zahnflanken (33a) in Drehrichtung der Walze vorn liegt. Die Erfindung gewährleistet bei hoher gleichmäßiger Zugkraft auf den Faden durch mechanische Mittel gleichzeitig die Aufrechterhaltung einer konstanten Saugströmung. Die Anwendung ist möglich bei auf Dorne aufgesteckten Spinnkopsen, wenn diese gedreht werden, oder auch in Richtung der Kopslängsachse von Spinnkopsen, die vom Aufsteckdorn abgezogen sind. <IMAGE>
