The invention relates to a process and an apparatus for the oxygen-free packaging of goods in a container (6) closable by means of a cover (2). What is proposed is a container (6) which has in the container interior a container bottom (12) drawn upwards level with the container edge (10) in one or more regions (8) and having at least one gas passage orifice (9). A gas is blown onto the cover (2) from below via the gas passage orifice (9), is deflected in the horizontal direction by the cover (2) and, uniformly distributed radially, is discharged into the container interior (4, 5). The gas displaces the air located in the container interior (4, 5) and is discharged to the atmosphere via the container edge (10). After the container interior (4, 5) has been flushed with the gas, the container (6) is closed by means of the cover (2), in such a way that the gas passage orifice (9) is covered by the cover (2), so that atmospheric oxygen can no longer penetrate into the container interior (4, 5) via the gas passage orifice (9). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Verfahren und eine Vorrichtung zum sauerstofffreien Verpacken von Ware in einen mit einer Abdeckung (2) verschließbaren Behälter (6). Es wird ein Behälter (6) vorgeschlagen, der im Behälterinnenraum einen in einem oder mehreren Bereichen (8) bis zur Höhe des Behälterrandes (10) hochgezogenen Behälterboden (12) mit mindestens einer Gasdurchtrittsöffnung (9) aufweist. Über die Gasdurchtrittsöffnung (9) wird von unten auf die Abdeckung (2) ein Gas aufgeblasen, das durch die Abdeckung (2) in horizontaler Richtung umgelenkt und radial gleichmäßig verteilt in den Behälterinnenraum (4, 5) abgegeben wird. Das Gas verdrängt die im Behälterinnenraum (4, 5) befindliche Luft und wird über den Behälterrand (10) an die Atmosphäre abgegeben. Nachdem der Behälterinnenraum (4, 5) mit dem Gas gespült worden ist, wird der Behälter (6) mit der Abdeckung (2) derart verschlossen, daß die Gasdurchtrittsöffnung (9) von der Abdeckung (2) abgedeckt wird, so daß über die Gasdurchtrittsöffnung (9) kein Luftsauerstoff mehr in den Behälterinnenraum (4, 5) gelangen kann. <IMAGE>
