A safety-belt buckle in a safety-belt arrangement in motor vehicles has a part (11) attached to the chassis (12) and a locking tongue (13) which is connected to the vehicle chassis (12) via passenger restraint belts (33, 34). Part (11) of the buckle has a latch (16) which can be moved transversely to the direction of insertion of the locking tongue (13) and a release button (18) which can be moved parallel to the direction of insertion of the locking tongue (13), counter to spring force. The release button (18) is arranged in a manner which allows it to pivot to a limited extent about a transverse pivot (25) in such a way that it is pressed lightly against the surface (26) of the inserted locking tongue (13) by the spring arrangement (17) of the release button. <IMAGE>

Ein Sicherheitsgurtschloß einer Sicherheitsgurtanordnung bei Kraftfahrzeugen weist ein am Chassis (12) befestigtes Schloßteil (11) und eine Riegelzunge (13) auf, welche über Anschnallgurte (33, 34) mit dem Fahrzeugchassis (12) verbunden ist. Das Schloßteil (11) besitzt einen quer zur Einsteckrichtung der Riegelzunge (13) bewegbaren Riegel (16) und eine parallel zur Einsteckrichtung der Riegelzunge (13) gegen Federkraft bewegbare Entriegelungstaste (18) auf. Die Entriegelungstaste (18) ist um eine Querachse (25) derart begrenzt schwenkbar angeordnet, daß sie durch die Entriegelungstasten-Federanordnung (17) gegen die Oberfläche (26) der eingesteckten Riegelzunge (13) leicht angedrückt wird. <IMAGE>
