Bei einer Vorrichtung zum vorzugsweise getrennten Sammeln von Abfall mit wenigstens einem einen Deckel (16) aufweisenden Abfallbehälter (11), der relativ zu einer Ummantelung (3) kippbar angeordnet ist, weist die Ummantelung an der dem Benutzer zugewandten Seite eine ein Verkippen des Abfallbehälters in Richtung auf den Benutzer entsprechende Öffnung (10) auf, ist der Abfallbehälter im Bodenbereich der Ummantelung kippbar (12) gelagert, ist der Deckel im oberen Behälterbereich verschwenkbar gelagert, ist ein Öffnungsteil (18) vorgesehen, welches bei Verkippen des Abfallbehälters den Deckel öffnet und ist eine Verkippbegrenzungseinrichtung (20) vorgesehen. <IMAGE>
