A foam cap (10) has an outlet nozzle (12) whose outlet channel (14) has at the upper end a tube section (16) whose upper end is closed by a baffle plate (18) and is provided with passage slots (22) which open out radially into an outlet slot (24) in the cap wall (20). An inner bottom (26) of each outlet slot (24) extends from the lower end (28) of each passage slot (22) radially outwards up to a baffle wall (30) which, with the outlet channel (14), forms an acute angle which opens towards the cap wall (20). An upper end (32) of each baffle wall (30) is arranged at a height which is approximately two thirds of the height of the tube section (16). An outer bottom (34) of each outlet slot (24) extends from the upper end (32) of the baffle wall (30) radially outwards almost up to an outer edge (36) of the cap wall (20). The foam cap can be produced economically as an integral plastic injection moulding and, with a very simple construction, allows excellent foaming of a foamable product contained in a pressure container. <IMAGE>

Ein Schaumkof (10) hat einen Auslaßstutzen (12), dessen Auslaßkanal (14) am oberen Ende einen Rohrabschnitt (16) hat, dessen oberes Ende durch eine Prallplatte (18) geschlossen und mit Durchtrittsschlitzen (22) versehen ist, die in einen Austrittsschlitz (24) in der Kopfwand (20) radial einmünden. Ein innerer Boden (26) jedes Austrittsschlitzes (24) erstreckt sich vom unteren Ende (28) jedes Durchtrittsschlitzes (22) bis zu einer Prallwand (30) radial nach außen, die mit dem Auslaßkanal (14) einen spitzen Winkel bildet, der sich zur Kopfwand (20) hin öffnet. Ein oberes Ende (32) jeder Prallwand (30) ist auf einer Höhe angeordnet, die etwa zwei Drittel der Höhe des Rohrabschnitts (16) beträgt. Ein äußerer Boden (34) jedes Austrittsschlitzes (24) erstreckt sich vom oberen Ende (32) der Prallwand (30) bis in die Nähe eines Außenrandes (36) der Kopfwand (20) radial nach außen. Der Schaumkopf ist als einteiliger Kunststoff-Spritzling wirtschaftlich herstellbar und ermöglicht bei einfachstem Aufbau eine hervorragende Verschäumung eines in einem Druckbehälter enthaltenen verschäumbaren Produktes. <IMAGE>
