The amalgam body (1) or amalgam creating body has a ferromagnetic component in the form of a ferromagnetic core (2) or of a ferromagnetic sleeve. The ferromagnetic component can also be a ferromagnetic powder which is embedded in the body in the melt, or is alloyed to the amalgam mould. As a result of the ferromagnetic component, the amalgam body or the amalgam creating body can be magnetically fixed in the pump head and does not need to be incorporated into the small pump tube until the lamp has been pumped. <IMAGE>

Der Amalgamkörper (1) bzw. Amalgambildnerkörper weist ein ferromagnetisches Bestandteil in Form eines ferromagnetischen Kerns (2) oder einer ferromagnetischen Hülse auf. Das ferromagnetische Bestandteil kann auch ein ferromagnetisches Pulver sein, das bei der Schmelze in den Körper eingebettet oder zur Amalgamschmelze zulegiert wird. Aufgrund des ferromagnetischen Bestandteils kann der Amalgamkörper bzw. Amalgambildnerkörper magnetisch im Pumpkopf festgehalten und erst nach dem Pumpen der Lampe in das Pumpröhrchen eingebracht werden. <IMAGE>
