A transporting container which takes ecological aspects into account and can be collapsed in the empty state, preferably in the format of a standard pallet, is designed to receive objects to be transported which are, in particular, self-supporting, and is composed of a bottom (34), a lid (33) and a foldable casing (36), the bottom and lid having grooves which act in a positive-locking manner and being connectable to the foldable casing (36) by clamping elements (43), in particular by flat clamping elements which are composed essentially of sheet-metal parts, but also by hooping elements to form a packaging unit. <IMAGE>

Ökologische Gesichtspunkte berücksichtigender, im Leerzustand zusammenlegbarer, Transportbehälter, vorzugsweise in Standard-Palettenformat, der zur Aufnahme von, insbesondere standfähigem, Transportgut ausgebildet ist und aus einem Boden (34), einem Deckel (33) und einem faltbaren Mantel (36) besteht, wobei Boden und Deckel formschlüssig wirkende Nuten aufweisen und mit dem faltbaren Mantel (36) durch Spannelemente (43), insbesondere durch Flachspannelemente, die im wesentlichen aus Blechteilen bestehen, aber auch durch Umreifungselemente zu einer Verpackungseinheit verbindbar sind. <IMAGE>
