Abstract (en)
A thermostatic three-way valve (12) allows a fraction of the flow rate of cooling fluid leaving the engine (1) of a vehicle, which fraction is a decreasing function of the temperature of the fluid, to short-circuit the condenser (2). In addition, a second thermostatic valve (36) with progressive closure, when the three-way valve is in its position forcing the fluid in liquid phase to pass through the condenser, still allows a certain quantity of fluid to pass out of the condenser so that the fluid returned to the engine and passing through a heating radiator (17) is at a sufficient temperature to provide effective heating of the passenger compartment of the vehicle.

Une vanne thermostatique à trois voies (12) permet à une fraction du débit de fluide de refroidissement sortant du moteur (1) d'un véhicule, fonction décroissante de la température du fluide, de court-circuiter le condenseur (2). De plus, une second vanne thermostatique (36) à fermeture progressive, lorsque la vanne à trois voies est dans sa position obligeant le fluide en phase liquide à traverser le condenseur, permet encore le passage d'une certaine quantité de fluide hors de celui-ci de façon que le fluide renvoyé vers le moteur et passant dans un radiateur de chauffage (17) soit à une température suffisante pour assurer un chauffage efficace de l'habitacle du véhicule.
