The pipe is rammed by means of a hydraulic or electromagnetic hammer (3) applied against a shut-off head (2) located at the end of the pipe. Preferably, the pipe is equipped at the bottom with a ramming support (4) and a removable head is used which is capable of resting laterally on this support. The invention applies particularly to the production of a post or pile, particularly for foundations. <IMAGE>

On bat le tube au moyen d'un marteau hydraulique ou électro-magnétique (3) appliqué contre une tête d'obturation (2) située au fond du tube. De préférence on munit le tube en partie basse d'un appui de battage (4) et on utilise une tête amovible apte à reposer latéralement sur cet appui. L'invention s'applique notamment à la réalisation d'un pieu ou d'une pile, en particulier pour une fondation. <IMAGE>
