Abstract (en)

Described is a process for printing preferably cellulose-containing fibre material by direct printing. The process is characterised in that the printing paste used contains in addition to at least one water-soluble reactive dye (a) a water-soluble sulpho-containing polymer, (b) fixing alkali and optionally (c) a deaerating agent. The present process makes it possible to produce strong, patterned prints on white ground with good levelness, good fastness properties and crisp outlines (sharp contours). The print pastes are notable for homogeneity, storage stability and simplicity of handling.

Beschrieben wird ein Verfahren zum Bedrucken von vorzugsweise cellulosehaltigem Fasermaterial im Direktdruck, das dadurch gekennzeichnet ist, dass man eine Druckpaste verwendet, die ausser mindestens einem wasserlöslichen Reaktivfarbstoff (a) ein wasserlösliches sulfogruppenhaltiges Polymer, (b) Fixieralkali und gegebenenfalls, (c) ein Entlüftungsmittel enthält. Mit dem vorliegenden Verfahren lassen sich farbstarke, musterförmige Drucke auf weissem Grund mit guter Egalität, guten Echtheiten und mit scharfen Konturen herstellen. Die Druckpasten zeichnen sich durch eine gute Homogenität, hervorragende Lagerstabilität und einfache Handhabung aus.
