L'invention concerne un engin sportif, du type comprenant une plate-forme pour un usager, des éléments porteurs tels que des roues, répartis en un ensemble avant et un ensemble arrière, des organes reliés d'une part à la plate-forme et d'autre part à des supports d'au moins un élément porteur. Il est caractérisé en ce qu'il comporte au moins un support (200) pour au moins un pivot longitudinal (102) solidaire de la plate-forme (100) ainsi qu'un balancier (103) fixé sous la plate-forme (100) et portant un organe de pivotement (108) pour une bielle transversale (110) joignant ledit organe de pivotement (108) à un segment longitudinal latéral (206) qui est relié à un support (204) d'un élément porteur (301-305) et qui fait partie d'un parallélogramme articulé comprenant un autre segment longitudinal latéral (207) opposé au précédent (206) et deux traverses de liaison (201 et 208) situées l'une derrière l'autre et dont l'une, avant (201), est fixée par ses extrémités à deux supports (202 et 203) d'éléments porteurs (301 et 302 - 305 et 306) et l'autre, arrière (208), est articulée à l'une des extrémités des deux segments longitudinaux latéraux (206 et 207).
