[origin: FR2685925A1] The invention relates to a monofilament fiber of plastic material containing from 0.2 to 15 % by weight of at least one agent improving the sliding characteristic of the fiber and reducing its wetability to water and/or to solvents. The invention also relates to an applicator for liquid product comprising a plurality of bristles mechanically connected to a single element wherein at least one portion of the bristles is comprised of sections of a fiber hereabove defined; said applicators are particularly useful for the application of cosmetic products.

L'invention concerne une fibre monofilament en matière plastique contenant de 0,2 à 15 % en poids d'au moins un agent améliorant la caractéristique de glissement de la fibre et réduisant sa mouillabilité à l'eau et/ou aux solvants. L'invention concerne également un applicateur de produit liquide comportant une pluralité de poils reliés mécaniquement à un même élément dans lequel au moins une partie des poils est constituée par des tronçons d'une fibre telle que définie ci-dessus; ces applicateurs sont particulièrement intéressants pour l'application des produits cosmétiques.
