In an apparatus for making textile pile fabric, with a transport device (6, 7) driveable in steps for at least one tensioned carrier-fabric web (3 or 4), with at least one tufting-needle bar (10) which extends transversely relative to the web transport direction and carries a plurality of tufting needles (12) arranged at a distance from one another and which is movable transversely to the web transport plane, the tufting needles (12) which take up a respective tufting thread (13) pricking through each carrier fabric web (3 or 4) and forming a loop (15), and with a loop-holder device movable to and fro, which is arranged opposite the tufting-needle bar (10) and engages into the loops (15) and which preferably inserts a binding thread (18) into these, a high pile density and nevertheless a sturdy design and clearly understandable arrangement of the engagement members (17) of the loop-holding device can be achieved in that each tufting-needle bar (10) has at least one tufting-needle row (11) extending obliquely relative to the web transport direction and having a plurality of tufting needles (12) arranged obliquely in succession, and in that each tufting-needle row (11) of this kind is assigned a common engagement member (17), of which the stroke travelling in the longitudinal direction of the row corresponds at least to the length of the associated tufting-needle row (11). <IMAGE>

Bei einer Vorrichtung zur Herstellung von Flortextilware mit einer schrittweise antreibbaren Transporteinrichtung (6, 7) für wenigstens eine gespannte Trägergewebebahn (3 bzw. 4), mit mindestens einer quer zur Bahntransportrichtung verlaufenden Tuftingnadelbarre (10), die mehrere, mit gegenseitigem Abstand plazierte Tuftingnadeln (12) trägt und quer zur Bahntransportebene bewegbar ist, wobei die jeweils einen Tuftingfaden (13) mitführenden Tuftingnadeln (12) jede Trägergewebebahn (3 bzw. 4) durchstechen und eine Schlinge (15) bilden, und mit einer der Tuftingnadelbarre (10) gegenüberliegend angeordneten, in die Schlingen (15) eingreifenden, vorzugsweise in diese einen Bindefaden (18) einlegenden, hin- und herbewegbaren Schlingenhaltereinrichtung, lassen sich dadurch eine hohe Flordichte und dennoch eine massive Ausbildung und übersichtliche Anordnung der Eingriffsorgane (17) der Schlingenhalteeinrichtung erreichen, daß jede Tuftingnadelbarre (10) wenigstens eine schräg zur Bahntransportrichtung verlaufende Tuftingnadelreihe (11) mit mehreren, schräg hintereinander angeordneten Tuftingnadeln (12) aufweist und daß jeder derartigen Tuftingnadelreihe (11) ein gemeinsame Eingriffsorgan (17) zugeordnet ist, dessen in Reihenlängsrichtung gehender Hub zumindest der Länge der zugeordneten Tuftingnadelreihe (11) entspricht. <IMAGE>
