Abstract (en)
The invention relates to a shower-enclosing means having a swing door (5) which can pivot about a vertical pivot axis (4) and has an essentially frameless door leaf (10) consisting of glass or plastic, and having a member (12) which bears the door leaf (10) and, for this purpose, encloses it at one vertical border and extends essentially over the entire height of the door leaf (10). The width of said shower-enclosing means can be adjusted within wide limits, all the fastening parts being concealed hygienically and in an aesthetically pleasing manner. For this purpose, the member (12) is in two parts in cross-section. One part encloses the two load-bearing walls (16), which form a vertical groove (17), and the greater part of an outer casing (15) on one side of a through-passage (14), around the vertical groove (17) and as far as the other side of the vertical groove (17). The other part encloses the smaller part of the outer casing (15) on the other side of the vertical groove (17) as far as the through-passage (14) and is fastened on the load-bearing part (19). The smaller part thus conceals the fastening elements (18) and further, unused fastening openings in the load-bearing wall (16). <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung betrifft eine Duschabtrennung mit einer um eine vertikale Schwenkachse (4) schwenkbaren Schwingtür (5) mit einem aus Glas oder Kunststoff bestehenden, im wesentlichen rahmenlosen Türblatt (10) und einem das Türblatt (10) tragenden und dazu an einem vertikalen Rand umfassenden, im wesentlichen über die volle Höhe des Türblattes (10) durchgehenden Holm (12). Diese ist in der Breite in weiten Grenzen einstellbar, wobei alle Befestigungsteile hygienisch und optisch einwandfrei verdeckt sind. Dazu ist der Holm (10) im Querschnitt zweigeteilt. Der eine Teil umfaßt beide eine Vertikalnut (17) bildende Tragwände (16) sowie den größeren Teil eines Außenmantels (15) auf einer Seite von einem Durchbruch (14) um die Vertikalnut (17) herum bis auf die andere Seite der Vertikalnut (17). Der andere Teil umfaßt den kleineren Teil des Außenmantels (15) auf der anderen Seite der Vertikalnut (17) bis zum Durchbruch (14) und ist am Tragteil (19) befestigt. Der kleinere Teil verdeckt so die Befestigungselemente (18) und weitere, nicht benutzte Befestigungsöffnungen in der Tragwand (16). <IMAGE>
