[origin: EP0582985A1] Exhaust manifold for ducting exhaust gas out of an internal combustion engine, especially for vehicles, having the following features: (a) at least one inner shell (10, 11, 12) and one outer shell (14), the latter being arranged at a distance from the inner shell(s) (10, 11, 12) in order to form an intermediate space (17); (b) the inner shell(s) (10, 11, 12) and the outer shell (14) are composed of sheet metal, the outer shell (14) having a greater wall thickness than the inner shell(s) (10, 11, 12); (c) the inner shell(s) (10, 11, 12) and the outer shell (14) are connected on the exhaust gas inlet side to a common fixing flange (15) and on the exhaust gas outlet side open into a common connecting flange (16) for connection to further exhaust gas ducting parts. <IMAGE>
