[origin: EP0584044A1] Described is a process for photochemical and thermal stabilisation of dyed and undyed polyester fibre materials. It is characterised in that the fibre material is treated with a compound of the formula <IMAGE> where R1 and R2 are independently of each other C1-C12alkyl. The process makes it possible to obtain highly lightfast and sublimation-resistant polyester and cellulose acetate dyeings and prints.
