[origin: WO9220714A1] A protein which inhibits milk secretion by lactating cows and which is present in the eighth (6B, Figure) significant peak when a nominally 10-30 KDa fraction of the whey proteins of the milk is resolved on a "Mono Q" anion exchange column using 10 mM imidazole buffer, pH 7.0 and a sodium chloride elution gradient.

On décrit une protéine ayant un effet inhibiteur sur la sécrétion de lait chez les vaches laitières et qui est présente dans la huitième crête significative (6B, Figure) lorsqu'une fraction nominale de 10-30 KDa de protéines de petit-lait est résolue sur une colonne d'échange anionique "Mono Q" en utilisant 10 mN d'imidazole tampon, avec un pH de 7,0 ainsi qu'un gradient d'élution du chlorure de sodium.
