[origin: WO9220925A1] A multiple flow, liquid ring pump has a roctor housing (1) that encloses the rotor of the pump. A shield (2 or 3) which projects at least partially over the rotor housing (1) in the radial direction is arranged on each front side of the rotor housing (1). Both shields (2 and 3) project over the rotor housing (1) at the same point of its circumference, and each shield (2 or 3) is provided with an inlet (7) and an outlet (8) in their projecting part (corner 16), on the side that faces the other shield (2 or 3). In this pump, the opposite inlet and outlet (7 and 8) of the shields (1 and 3) are interconnected by connecting tubes (9) that extend parallel to the rotor housing (1). A suction opening (13) is provided for a supply line and a delivery opening (14) is provided for an outlet line. This liquid ring pump takes up little space and can be easily mounted at its installation site.
