[origin: EP0584428A1] The mixer for double dispensing cartridges with two supply cylinders whose volume ratio is different from 1:1 has a mixer housing (3) which can be attached to the cartridge and a mixer-helix assembly (1) arranged therein. The two discharge openings of the cartridge are connected to a feed part (2) disposed upstream of the mixer-helix assembly (1), which feed part is subdivided into a larger feed chamber (4, 10 A) for the first component (A) with the greater dispensing volume and a smaller feed chamber (5, 10 B) for the second component (B) with the smaller dispensing volume and has first means (11) for accumulating the first component (A) and second means (12) for guiding said first component into the feed chamber (5) of the second component and carrying the latter along with it. Such a mixer makes possible intimate thorough mixing of the components without the necessity of first having to dispense a specific volume uselessly to set the correct mixing ratio. <IMAGE>
