The invention relates to a painting booth with two end walls (10) and two side walls (18) connecting the end walls to one another and a filter ceiling (28) subdividing the inner space into a lower painting space (24) and an upper storage space (26). To produce an inner space which is easy to keep clean, the side walls (18) have a plurality of vertical support columns (30) of the height of the inner space which are arranged at distances from one another, whereas the side-wall regions arranged between two support columns have at least one frame section (34, 34', 34'') delimited by the support columns (30) and by two crossbars (32, 32', 32'') arranged at a vertical distance from one another. The support columns (30) and crossbars (32, 32', 32'') delimiting the frame section (34, 34', 34'') span a common frame level towards the inner space and have a surrounding step-shaped recess (36, 36') which is open towards the inner space and towards the frame section, to receive a panel-shaped filling element (38, 38', 38'') of safety glass, which, with its broad-side surface facing the inner space, is aligned with the frame level. <IMAGE>

Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Lackierkabine mit zwei Stirnseitenwänden (10) und zwei die Stirnseitenwände miteinander verbindenden Seitenwänden (18) sowie einer den Innenraum in einen unteren Lackierraum (24) und einen oberen Stauraum (26) unterteilenden Filterdecke (28). Zur Erzeugung eines einfach sauberzuhaltenden Innenraums weisen die Seitenwände (18) mehrere im Abstand voneinander angeordnete, innenraumhohe vertikale Tragstützen (30) auf, während die zwischen zwei Tragstützen angeordneten Seitenwandbereiche mindestens ein durch die Tragstützen (30) und zwei in vertikalem Abstand voneinander angeordnete Querriegel (32,32', 32'') begrenztes Rahmenfeld (34,34',34'') aufweisen. Die das Rahmenfeld (34,34',34'') begrenzenden Tragstützen (30) und Querriegel (32,32',32'') spannen zum Innenraum hin eine gemeinsame Rahmenebene auf und weisen eine umlaufende, zum Innenraum und zum Rahmenfeld hin offene stufenförmige Ausnehmung (36,36') zur Aufnahme eines plattenförmigen Ausfachelements (38,38',38'') aus Sicherheitsglas auf, das mit seiner dem Innenraum zugewandten Breitseitenfläche mit der Rahmenebene fluchtet. <IMAGE>
