[origin: EP0584481A2] A multipole connecting terminal has a plastic housing (10a, 10b) in which two rows of terminal poles (20, 22, 24) are arranged like a staircase. The terminal poles of the front lower row are inserted into the housing (10a) from the front. The terminal poles of the upper rear row are inserted into the housing (10b) from the rear.
