Abstract (en)

This device allows the cycle time for transporting lengths of cable (23) between processing stations (21) to be reduced. Module grippers (22) are for this purpose mounted on the machine framework (20) such that they cannot move in the direction of the processing stations (21), are allocated to the processing stations (21) and are used for fixing the lengths of cable (23) during processing. Transfer grippers (26) which are provided for cable transportation are arranged on the machine framework (20) such that they can be displaced both in a first direction (x') and in a second direction (y') which differs from the first direction (x'). <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Mit dieser Einrichtung kann beim Transportieren von Kabelabschnitten (23) zwischen Bearbeitungsstationen (21) die Taktzeit verkürzt werden. Zu diesem Zweck sind den Bearbeitungsstationen (21) zugeordnete, dem Festhalten der Kabelabschnitte (23) während des Bearbeitens dienende Modulgreifer (22) in Richtung der Bearbeitungsstationen (21) unbeweglich am Maschinengestell (20) befestigt. Für den Kabeltransport vorgesehene Transfergreifer (26) sind sowohl in einer ersten Richtung (x') als auch in einer von der ersten Richtung (x') verschiedenen zweiten Richtung (y') verschiebbar am Maschinengestell (20) angeordnet. <IMAGE>
