Abstract (en)

[origin: EP0584731A1] The invention relates to a mechanism for cooling tobacco-processing machines in an air-conditioned factory hall. It is the aim, in the case of cooling and air conditioning, to save energy and optimise both independently of one another in their adjustment and efficiency. This is achieved by connecting the machines (3, 4, 6) or their most powerful sets to a common, central liquid-cooling circuit (11), in which case the heat absorbed by the cooling medium is released outside the air-conditioned room (1). In this way, the air-conditioned room air is uninfluenced by the effective cooling system of the machines and can be stabilised in the long term without any great fluctuations in performance. <IMAGE>
