The tensioning and ironing device for sleeves has two tension spars (2, 3) which are arranged essentially parallel to one another and the mutual spacing of which is variable counter to the effect of a spring. For working by means of steam or by means of a pressing operation by tenter (7) from outside, the two tension spars (2, 3), with the sleeve (1) slipped on, are lowered via a linear guide (8) within an ironing-machine housing. The tensioning and ironing device allows a substantially more efficient smoothing working of sleeves in the garment-making industry by means of timed tandem machines. <IMAGE>

Die Spann- und Bügelvorrichtung für Ärmel weist zwei im wesentlichen parallel zueinander angeordnete Spannholme (2, 3) auf, deren gegenseitiger Abstand entgegen der Wirkung einer Feder veränderbar ist. Zur Bearbeitung mittels Dampf bzw. mittels Preßvorgang durch Spannrahmen (7) von außen werden die beiden Spannholme (2,3) bei aufgestecktem Ärmel (1) über eine Linearführung (8) innerhalb eines Bügelmaschinengehäuses abgesenkt. Die Spann- und Bügelvorrichtung ermöglicht eine wesentlich rationellere Glättungsbearbeitung von Ärmeln in der Kleiderkonfektionsindustrie durch taktgesteuerte Tandemmaschinen. <IMAGE>
