[origin: EP0585566A2] The invention relates to a plastic transport case, consisting of a bottom and four side walls, which are connected at their upper edge by a frame, and of a lid mounted on the frame by means of hinges. The object of the invention is to provide a possibility of being able to remove the product from the transport case laterally if the latter is in a stack. The invention consists in the fact that an opening is provided in at least one side wall, which opening can be closed by a slide, that guide rails for the lateral guidance of the slide are provided on the side wall, that further guide rails for bearing the slide in the open position of the side wall are arranged in the lid, and that a cutout is provided in the upper edge of the frame which forms a passage for the slide when inserted into the guide rails of the lid.
