[origin: EP0585643A1] The invention relates to a method for introducing product-filled packages, especially tubular bags, into despatch containers. The packages are transferred, lying flat, from a feed device onto a transfer band and are thereafter inserted on edge into the despatch containers at a transfer point. For this purpose, the despatch containers, inclined downwards in the direction of transport, are guided past the transfer point and each filled, starting at an end wall. The subject of the invention is, furthermore, a device for carrying out the method. <IMAGE>
