Abstract (en)

In the case of transformers which operate at a high-voltage potential, the transformer windings (w1, w2) are frequently embedded together with the coil formers (SK) in an insulating compound (VM). The insulating compound (VM) with the embedded windings (w1, w2) is isolated from the core (KE, DK) by an air gap (LS) and is attached to only one core wall (KW). This measure ensures reliable operation at the Paschen minimum, particularly when the core (KE, DK) is insulated from earth potential. The transformer according to the invention is suitable, for example, for use as a cathode-current regulator for travelling wave tube amplifiers. <IMAGE>

Abstract (de)

Bei Übertragern, die auf Hochspannungspotential arbeiten, werden die Übertragerwicklungen (w1, w2) mitsamt den Spulenkörpern (SK) häufig in eine Isolationsmasse (VM) eingebettet. Die Isolationsmasse (VM) mit den eingebetteten Wicklungen (w1, w2) ist gegenüber dem Kern (KE, DK) durch einen Luftspalt (LS) getrennt und nur an einer Kernwandung (KW) befestigt. Durch diese Maßnahme ist ein sicherer Betrieb im Paschenminimum gewährleistet, insbesondere wenn der Kern (KE, DK) gegen Massepotential isoliert ist. Der erfindungsgemäße Übertrager eignet sich beispielsweise für Kathodenstromregler von Wanderfeldröhrenverstärkern. <IMAGE>
