For this purpose, there are arranged under the heads 15 of the fliers 6 and/or under the flier rail 5 of the roving frame 1 guide members 17, 22/23, 41, 42 which, especially in the transverse position of the fliers 6 relative to the longitudinal axis of the roving frame, form a guide track carrying a suspended carriage train 11. <IMAGE>
