Abstract (en)
[origin: WO9221860A1] A process is disclosed for generating energy in a combined gas/steam generating power station having a gas turbine (4) and a preferably coal-fired steam generator (21). The gas turbine (4) is connected downstream of a waste heat steam generating installation (7) supplied with water from the steam circuit of the gas/steam generating power plant. The temperature of the stream of steam from the waste heat steam generating installation is matched to the temperature of the stream of steam from the steam generator by supply of additional heat. Both streams of steam are then mixed and supplied to the same steam turbine (9). The quantities of heat required on the one hand for the production and temperature correction of the stream of steam from the waste heat steam generating installation (7) and on the other hand to generate the stream of steam in the steam generator (21) are supplied by independent heat generating and transmitting systems arranged on the side of the furnace.
