[origin: WO9219971A1] The subject application discloses methods and compostions for the targeted detection and/or inhibition of an intracellular protein in a cell by contacting the cell with a cationized antibody which reacts specifically with the intracellular protein. An example of an intracellular protein which can be inhibited in this manner is the Tat protein which is encoded by the HIV-1 virus.

L'invention concerne des procédés et des compositions pour la détection et/ou l'inhibition ciblée d'une protéine intracellulaire dans une cellule en mettant en contact la cellule avec un anticorps cationisé qui réagit de manière spécifique avec la protéine intracellulaire. Un exemple d'une protéine intracellulaire qui peut être inhibée de cette manière est la protéine Tat qui est codée par le virus HIV-1.
