Abstract (en)

[origin: WO9318701A1] A device for the repeated, independent dispensing of doses of powder detergent in water-using washing machines such as domestic dish washers and washing machines comprises a detergent container (2) with an outlet aperture (13) above a dosing and feed device (4, 4b) provided with at least one hollow (10). The latter receives individual doses of a powder detergent, which is fed into a processing chamber (A) of the washing machine. To prevent moisture penetration, and to facilitate the dispensing of doses of detergent, the inner chamber of the detergent container (2) and one duct (3a, 3b) of the dosing and feed device (4a, 4b) are subjected to a constant pressurized air stream (F) created by a compressed air generator (14); the air stream (F) also acts upon the inner hollow (10) in the feed position.
