[origin: EP0586722A1] A multi-station textile machine (1), in particular two-for-one twisting machine or cabling machine, with bobbin containers (2), arranged in rows, for receiving feed bobbins (3) and with a guide rail (14), guided around the machine frame so as to bear closely against the machine frame, for an endless conveyor (15) which can be driven continuously or intermittently and by which bobbin carriers (8,10) for the feed bobbins (3) are conveyed, is characterised in that the horizontal plane swept by the lowest point of the bobbins (3) conveyed by the bobbin carriers (8,10) is essentially at the same height as the topside of the bobbin containers (2), and in that the bobbin carriers (8,10) are conveyed by the endless conveyor (15) at a distance from one another which corresponds to 3 to 8 times the distance between adjacent bobbin containers (2). <IMAGE>
