[origin: EP0586817A2] The invention relates to a device for bringing into alignment the height of a surface of at least one framework, resting on a supporting platform, of large-scale kitchen equipment, in particular for kitchen stoves, frying (roasting) plates, deep fat fryers, bains-marie, roasting and baking ovens, tilting-type frying pans, cauldrons (kettles), tilting-type cauldrons, warming cabinets, work tables and the like, characterised by at least one screwing element which passes vertically through a baseplate of the framework close to a side wall of the latter and is guided in a thread fixed to the framework, the lower end of which screwing element can rest on the supporting platform and the upper end of which has engagement faces for a rod-shaped rotating tool which is to be inserted from above into a relieved portion, to be covered, next to the surface to be brought into alignment and after insertion projects above the surface with an actuating end. <IMAGE>
