In a device for cutting and stapling multi-layered printed products in folding machines, the object consists in arranging the female mould of the cutting device in a rigid manner. According to the invention, this object is achieved in that the apparatuses for cutting and for stapling are fastened on carriers, which are mounted separately from one another in lateral frames, and are mounted so that they can be driven separately and synchronously, in that their axes of rotation are arranged spaced apart and axially parallel to one another. It is ensured by this device that no parts of the stapling cylinder emerge at the periphery thereof, and stationary knives are arranged on the circumference of the stapling cylinder and circulate with the cylinder without the knives contacting the wire feed apparatuses.

Bei einer Vorrichtung zum Schneiden und Heften von mehrlagigen Druckprodukten in Falzapparaten besteht die Aufgabe darin, die Matrize der Schneidvorrichtung starr anzuordnen. Erfindungsgemäß wird diese Aufgabe dadurch gelöst, daß die Einrichtung zum Schneiden und zum Heften auf getrennt voneinander in Seitengestellen gelagerten Trägern befestigt sind und getrennt und synchron antreibbar gelagert sind, daß deren Rotationsachsen (17,41) in einem Abstand voneinander und achsparallel zueinander angeordnet sind. Durch diese Vorrichtung ist gesichert, daß keine Teile des Heftzylinders an der Peripherie desselben austreten und feststehende Messer am Umfang des Heftzylinders angeordnet sind und mit dem Zylinder umlaufen, ohne daß die Messer Berührung haben mit den Drahtzuführungseinrichtungen. <IMAGE>
